Our Story

Villa Tulua was born from a love of Siargao's raw natural beauty and a desire to create a sanctuary that honors both Filipino craftsmanship and Balinese design traditions.

Every element of the villa has been thoughtfully curated -- from the natural stone walls adorned with antique details to the hand-selected wooden furnishings and woven textiles. The result is a space that feels both luxurious and deeply connected to its surroundings.

Nestled in a coconut grove in Barangay Catangnan, General Luna, the villa offers a tranquil escape while remaining just minutes from the island's best surf, dining, and island-hopping adventures.

Design Philosophy

Villa Tulua's Filipino-Balinese inspired interior design is a celebration of natural materials and artisan craftsmanship. The architecture features traditional thatched roofs supported by exposed wooden beams, while the walls showcase a mosaic of natural coral stone.

Inside, you will find hand-carved wooden furniture, jute rugs, rattan accents, and curated tribal art pieces that tell the story of Southeast Asian heritage. The open-plan layout blurs the line between indoor and outdoor living, inviting the tropical breeze and garden views into every space.
